Membership Committee

The Membership Development Committee Is a cross-section of passionate volunteers who evaluate, enhance, and innovate the membership experience. The focus is on the identification, development, and implementation of strategies and tactics to advance the goals and objectives related to membership. Membership development is important as a means to govern the organization and achieve its overall mission

  • Increasing Membership. Recommending means for increasing the membership base, using both targeted and general methods of recruitment.
  • Welcoming (approving) New Members. Recommending ways to acknowledge new members and encourage participation. Conducting welcoming activities and education programs.
  • Identifying Nonmember Needs and Perceptions. Gathering information on and analyzing non-members’ needs and perceptions. Recommending ways in which to meet these needs to attract non-members to join.
  • Manage the master membership roster, including but not limited to biographical data, Membership status, committee membership, and home councils
