Thank you for being a part of APO Eagles! We know you understand the importance of our endeavor to bring together two organizations that we love – Scouting America and Alpha Phi Omega.
As you know, our efforts have allowed us to bestow scholarships to three very deserving Eagle Scouts as they embark on their college years. Each of these scouts, others that apply, and others that see us at events like the National Scout Jamboree, the National Order of the Arrow Conference, Section Conclaves, and camporees get to learn about the positive impact that being a member of Alpha Phi Omega can have on their college experience – something you already likely knew, or you wouldn’t be reading this newsletter.
I hope all of you will renew your respective memberships this year and that many of you will step forward to help spread the word about our group – it can be as simple as wearing an APO Eagles patch on your Scout uniform or flying one of our flags at your home. More importantly, however, I hope each of you will consider talking to your friends and telling them about the great work being done and asking them to become a member. If each of us gets one person to join our group would double in size! Wouldn’t that be great?
