Alpha Phi Omega Returns to the Summit: 2026 National Jamboree

The countdown is on for the 2026 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve (July 22–31), and Alpha Phi Omega is preparing for a landmark presence. This year, our outreach is expanding to ensure we support every member of the Scouting family, from prospective youth recruits to seasoned alumni.

Unified Leadership, Strategic Outreach

Our Jamboree operations are a coordinated effort led by Charlie Amen, who returns to chair the Fraternity Booth and the Duty to God area. Joining the team this year are Will Highsmith and John Conover, who will be coordinating the brand-new Alumni Complex Table. While Charlie focuses on inspiring the next generation of brothers, Will and John will provide a dedicated “home base” for APO alumni to reconnect and rediscover their ties to the fraternity and Scouting America.

Engaging Every Generation

To make the most of our presence, each location is tailored to a specific audience:

  • For Youth: The Fraternity and Duty to God booths will focus on recruitment and sharing how APO’s leadership values translate to the college experience.
  • For Alumni: At the Alumni Complex, brothers can visit our interactive national map to place a pin where they currently live and browse exclusive items for sale. All proceeds from these sales directly benefit our annual Eagle Scout scholarship fund.

Collect the Full Set

To encourage participants to explore the full breadth of APO’s mission, each main location—the Alumni Table and the Youth Booths—will feature a different unique giveaway patch. Whether you’re a youth scout or an adult leader, make sure to visit both sections of the Jamboree to collect these limited-edition items and celebrate our shared legacy of service! No matter what your role is at Jamboree, whether on staff or as a unit leader, you have the opportunity to volunteer at one or both of our booths to earn the Super Limited Edition Staff patch. These staff patches are only available to volunteers at Jamboree.

Don’t feel like camping for ten days? Stay at the APO Eagles AirBnB! We still have a spot or two remaining off-site. Through this option, you are considered a Vendor, and do not have access to meals on-site. Instead of paying for Jamboree (which is free for Vendors), you will be responsible for a portion of the AirBnB fee. Those who stay at the Airbnb go to dinner together off-site, and have access to the Hot Tub… yes, I said Hot Tub. Please contact John Conover by May 1 for information on the off-site AirBnB at jtconoverjr@gmail.com
